Who this guide is for: New StudioM clients getting familiar with their business platform for the first time. Time to read: Approximately 8 minutes


Welcome

Your StudioM platform is your all-in-one business hub — a single place to manage your contacts, communicate with clients, run your calendar, send campaigns, collect payments, and track your results.

We've done all the technical setup on your behalf. Your account is configured, your tools are connected, and everything is ready for you to use. This guide will help you get your bearings so you can hit the ground running.


How to Log In

  1. Go to your StudioM platform login URL (app.makoa.us)
  2. Enter your email address and password
  3. Click Sign In

Forgot your password? Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and a reset link will be sent to your email.

Can't log in? Contact StudioM Support and we'll sort it out for you.


A Tour of the Platform

Once you're logged in, you'll see the main navigation sidebar on the left side of the screen. Here's what each section does:

Section What It's For
Contacts Your customer and lead database — everyone who has connected with your business
Conversations Your unified inbox — all messages (SMS, email, social) in one place
Calendars Your appointment scheduling system and booking calendar
Opportunities Your sales pipeline — track deals from first contact to closed
Payments Invoices, estimates, and payment collection
Marketing Email campaigns, social media scheduling, and ad management
Automations Workflows that run on autopilot — follow-ups, reminders, and sequences
Sites Your funnels, websites, forms, and landing pages
Reporting Your dashboards and business performance data
Reputation Review requests and monitoring
Communities Memberships and online communities (if enabled)

Tip: Your platform may not show every section listed above — StudioM configures your view based on the services included in your plan. If you're looking for something you can't find, contact StudioM Support.


Your First Week — 5 Things to Do

Here are five practical things to do in your first week on the platform. You don't need to do them all at once — pick one or two and get comfortable before moving on.

1. Check Your Contacts List

Navigate to Contacts and take a look at your current database. If we've imported your existing customers, they'll be here. You can search, filter, and click into any contact to see their full history.

2. Explore Your Conversations Inbox

Go to Conversations to see your unified message inbox. This is where all inbound messages from clients land — SMS, email, Facebook, and more — in one central place.

3. View Your Calendar

Head to Calendars to see your booking calendar. If StudioM has set up an appointment booking page for you, you'll find your calendar here along with any existing appointments.

4. Check Your Sales Pipeline

Go to Opportunities to see your sales pipeline board. Each card represents a potential deal. You can drag cards between stages as deals progress.

5. Set Up Your Profile

Click your name or profile icon (bottom left corner) to access your profile settings. Make sure your name, email, and notification preferences are set correctly.

A Note on Setup

Some parts of the platform require StudioM to configure them on the backend — things like connecting your email sending system, setting up your phone number, or linking your payment gateway. You don't need to worry about any of that. We've handled it.

If something looks like it's not set up yet, or you want to make changes to how your account is configured, just contact StudioM Support and we'll take care of it.
