Mobile App — StudioM Platform Guide¶
Who this guide is for: Anyone who wants to access the StudioM platform from their phone or tablet. Time to read: Approximately 5 minutes
What Is the Mobile App?¶
The mobile app lets you run your business from your phone — reply to leads, manage contacts, check appointments, and handle payments wherever you are. Everything syncs in real time with the full platform on your desktop.
The app is available for both iPhone and Android.
How to Download¶
iPhone (iOS): Search for "Lead Connector" in the App Store → Download
Android: Search for "Lead Connector" in the Google Play Store → Download
After downloading, log in with your StudioM platform credentials.
What You Can Do in the App¶
Conversations and Messaging¶
- View and reply to all incoming messages — SMS, email, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram — in one inbox
- Send new messages to contacts
- Get push notifications when new messages arrive so you never miss a lead
Contacts¶
- Search and view all your contacts
- Create new contacts
- Add notes and tags
- View contact history (calls, messages, appointments, opportunities)
Opportunities and Pipeline¶
- View your sales pipeline
- Move opportunities between stages
- Update deal values and status
- Add notes to opportunities
Appointments and Calendar¶
- See your upcoming appointments
- Confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments
- Create new appointments on the go
Tasks¶
- View tasks assigned to you
- Mark tasks complete
- Create new tasks
Payments — Tap to Pay (iPhone)¶
Accept in-person card payments using just your iPhone — no separate card reader required.
- Requires iPhone with iOS 16 or later
- Customer taps their card, phone, or watch to your iPhone to pay
- Payment is processed immediately and recorded in your CRM
- Ideal for: service businesses that take payment at appointment, market stalls, consultations
To use Tap to Pay: 1. Open the app → Payments section 2. Create a new invoice or select an existing one 3. Tap Collect Payment → Tap to Pay 4. Customer taps their card or device
Note: Tap to Pay requires your payment gateway (Stripe) to be connected. Contact StudioM Support if this feature isn't available in your account.
Notifications¶
The app sends push notifications for: - New conversations and messages - New leads - Appointment reminders - Task due dates
Configure which notifications you receive in the app's notification settings.
Setting Up Push Notifications¶
When you first open the app, allow notifications when prompted. To manage later:
iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Lead Connector → customise alert types Android: Settings → Apps → Lead Connector → Notifications → customise
In the app itself: 1. Tap your profile icon (bottom right or top right) 2. Go to Notifications 3. Toggle on/off specific notification types
Switching Between Views¶
If your StudioM account has multiple team members: - The app shows conversations and tasks assigned to your user by default - Use the filter options in Conversations and Tasks to see all items or items assigned to others
Tips for Getting the Most From the App¶
- Enable notifications — the fastest way to respond to new leads is to be notified immediately when they come in; quick responses dramatically improve conversion rates
- Use it for conversations — the app is particularly powerful for monitoring your conversations inbox on the go
- Tap to Pay for service businesses — if you take payments at appointments, Tap to Pay eliminates the need for a separate card terminal
- Check your pipeline weekly — a quick review of your opportunities pipeline from your phone keeps deals from falling through the cracks
Common Questions¶
Q: Does the app work on tablets (iPad/Android tablet)? Yes — the app works on tablets and scales to take advantage of the larger screen.
Q: Is the mobile app the same as the full desktop version? Most core features are available, but some advanced features (workflow building, funnel/website editing, detailed reporting) are desktop-only. The app is optimised for communication, contact management, and quick tasks.
Q: Can multiple team members use the app simultaneously? Yes — each team member logs in with their own credentials. Everyone sees their assigned conversations, tasks, and appointments. A single subscription supports multiple users.
Q: What do I do if I forget my password? On the login screen, tap Forgot Password and follow the prompts to reset via email.
Q: Is my data secure on the mobile app? Yes — the app uses the same secure login as the desktop version. Enable Face ID or fingerprint login on your device for an extra layer of security.
Q: The app asks for my location — should I allow it? Location access is optional and used for features like local contact mapping. You can deny location access without affecting core functionality.
